PACA Announces Fifth Emerging Leaders Academy Class

The Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA) today announced its 2025 Emerging Leaders Academy (PELA) participants. This year’s class represents 14 member companies from across the commonwealth.

PELA is a 10-month hybrid program consisting of both online and in-person educational sessions and networking opportunities aimed at elevating potential leaders in the aggregates, concrete and cement industries, along with industry partners, consulting engineers, equipment dealers and manufacturers, admixtures, service providers, and more. Class members have the opportunity to meet key industry and legislative leaders throughout the commonwealth, tour industry plants and facilities, and learn valuable leadership and life skills they can bring back to the benefit of their companies and peers.

“PELA has become an industry recognized leadership experience with close to 30 applications to fill the coveted 20 class spots for 2025,” said PACA board chairperson Jamie Stilley. “What sets this program apart is that class members will have the opportunity to meet key individuals in the industry and learn important life and leadership skills that they can take back to not only their workplaces but also apply in their personal lives.”

Led by instructor and facilitator Greg Coker, class size is limited to 20 students as selected by the members of the PELA board of trustees. The dynamic curriculum includes networking, media training, a look into government relations, leadership tools and mandatory participation in a cornerstone project that is presented at PACA’s annual meeting in November.
