"BUD" - Buildings Under Design
As a state affiliate of the
National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, PACA has access to a project database known as "BUD" (Buildings Under Design).  While we are prohibited from sharing our access codes with our members, we are able to post projects of interest on our website.

Starting now, we will be posting the current or updated projects for the month here.  The projects list is provided in Excel format to make it simple to download and print.  If you have any questions regarding the BUD system, please contact Ken Crank at ken@pacaweb.org.

Producer Survey Results
During the first quarter of each year, PACA/PCPC distributes a survey to our ready mixed concrete producer members. The members are asked to provide production data for a variety of markets, including parking areas, residential, etc.

The Concrete Promotion initiative was started in 2004 when members of PACA's cement producers and concrete suppliers approached the Board of Directors about promoting concrete products in the state. A task force was organized to look into the best way to accomplish the creation of a promotion effort within PACA. Meetings were scheduled between representatives from both PACA and the Northeast Cement Shippers Association. In a joint agreement, the Concrete Promotion Committee became a reality within PACA.

The old Marketing and Public Relations Committee was disbanded in 2005 and the Concrete Promotion Committee was established with representation from the cement and Ready Mixed Concrete industries. Beginning in April, 2005, with the hiring of Ken Crank as the Director of Concrete Promotion the foundation had been set.
