PACA's Young Leaders Development Group (YLDG) conference focuses on leadership and team building skills to help further both the individual and their role within their companies.
For questions regarding the YLDG Conference, please contact Kallie Kline.
The conference schedule includes a tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield incorporating lessons on the consequences of clear vs. poor communication during the Civil War, followed by classroom study involving analyzing the Civil War leaders to find leadership behaviors which are successful in times of stress.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from George McAuley, PennDOT's Deputy Secretary for Highway Administration who will challenge a new generation of professionals to lead Pennsylvania's transportation infrastructure evolution for years to come.
Bring your best Halloween costume for the evening's costume party dinner and "real" ghost stories from Gettysburg around the bonfire.
Last, attendees will have the opportunity to give back during the volunteer community service, the Gleaning Project, at a local Adams County orchard.
